Portrait sessions are about more than everyone looking at the camera. They are about preserving the season you are in right now: the new baby days, the growing-up-too-fast years, the family updates, the senior year milestones, and the small moments that are easy to miss while life is moving quickly.
This portfolio includes family photography, newborn sessions, children’s portraits, senior photos, and seasonal mini sessions photographed throughout St. Louis and the surrounding area.
Family Photography
Family photos should feel guided, relaxed, and realistic for the people in front of the camera.
That means you do not need to arrive knowing how to pose, where to stand, or how to keep everyone smiling the entire time. I’ll guide you through natural prompts, simple groupings, and small moments that help the session feel more comfortable.
Some images may be gently posed. Others may be a little more playful, candid, or full of movement. The goal is a gallery that feels like your family, not a version of your family that feels overly stiff or forced.
Newborn Photography
Newborn sessions are quiet, thoughtful, and baby-led.
Whether the session takes place at home or in a studio setting, the focus is on connection, softness, and the details that change so quickly: tiny hands, sleepy stretches, family snuggles, and the way everything feels in those first weeks.
Newborn photography does not have to feel rushed or overly complicated. The best images often come from giving everyone enough space to settle in.
Children, Milestones, and Senior Portraits
Portrait sessions can also mark a specific chapter: a birthday, a milestone, a graduation year, or simply a season worth remembering.
For children and seniors, I use a mix of gentle direction and natural movement so the final images feel polished without feeling too posed. The session should give them room to feel like themselves.
Seasonal Mini Sessions
Seasonal mini sessions are offered on select dates throughout the year and are designed for families who want updated photos in a shorter, simpler format.
Mini sessions work well for holiday cards, fall family photos, spring updates, and quick milestone portraits. Because these sessions are shorter, dates and locations are pre-selected, and booking is offered in limited quantities.
