Spring mini sessions are designed to be quick, focused, and easy to fit into a busy schedule. They’re a great option for families, couples, or individuals who want updated photos without committing to a longer session.
These sessions work especially well if you’re:
- Updating family photos
- Marking a milestone
- Preparing images for cards or announcements
- Wanting something seasonal and current
If you’re hoping for more time, flexibility, or a more customized experience, a full session may be a better fit.. (If you need more time, please inquire about our full sessions.)

How to Prepare for Your spring Mini Session
To ensure you get the most out of your photography mini session, here are a few helpful tips:
- Plan Your Outfits: Coordinate your outfits with the fall colors in mind. Think warm tones like burgundy, mustard, navy, and olive green. Avoid loud patterns and logos – the focus should be on your family and the beautiful fall setting.
- Arrive on Time: Mini photo sessions are typically shorter, so arriving on time is crucial. This ensures we have plenty of time to capture all the shots you want without feeling rushed.
- Bring Essentials: If you have young children, bring along some snacks, water, and maybe even a favorite toy to help keep them happy and engaged during the session.
- Relax and Have Fun: The best photos come when everyone is relaxed and having a good time. Let the kids be themselves, laugh, play, and enjoy the moment.
- Trust Your Photographer: We’re here to make this experience enjoyable for you. We’ll guide you through poses, suggest great spots for photos, and make sure you leave with a gallery you’ll love.
- Prepare the Kids: If you’re bringing little ones, let them know they’re going to have fun! Remember having their picture made isn’t in their normal routine so this is a different experience. Bring a favorite toy or treat to keep them happy and engaged if needed. Make sure you don’t mind the items you bring in the photos. I work with their energy and make the session enjoyable for everyone.
