- October 25: Queeny Park – Beautiful back drop with tall grass and white fences

- November 8: Lafayette Park – Great brick buildings, tree covered spaces and ornate bridge

What to Expect During Our Fall Mini Sessions
Our Fall Mini Photo Sessions are designed to be quick, fun, and stress-free. Each session lasts around 15 minutes, giving us just enough time to capture the essence of your family without losing children’s attention. (If you need more time, please inquire about our full sessions.) We’ll guide you through natural poses, ensure everyone feels comfortable, and, most importantly, make sure you have fun! Whether you’re bringing the immediate family or just the kids, our fall photo sessions are perfect for capturing the warmth and joy of the season.
Tips to Prepare for Your Fall Photography Session
To ensure you get the most out of your photography mini session, here are a few helpful tips:
- Coordinate Your Outfits: Choose outfits that complement the fall color palette. Think warm tones like deep reds, oranges, and browns. Avoid overly bright colors or busy patterns that may distract from the beautiful autumn scenery. Layering is also a great way to add texture and dimension to your photos.
- Arrive Early: Give yourself enough time to arrive at the location a little early (5-10 minutes). This allows you to get settled and shake off any last-minute jitters. Plus, it ensures we can start your session right on time!
- Keep It Simple: Mini photo sessions are all about capturing genuine moments. Don’t overthink it! Relax, have fun with your family, and trust that I’ll capture those authentic smiles and interactions.
- Bring Props if You’d Like: If you have a special blanket, a favorite book, or anything else that adds a personal touch to your photos, feel free to bring it along. However, don’t feel pressured—sometimes, the beauty of fall speaks for itself!
- Prepare the Kids: If you’re bringing little ones, let them know they’re going to have fun! Remember having their picture made isn’t in their normal routine so this is a different experience. Bring a favorite toy or treat to keep them happy and engaged if needed. Make sure you don’t mind the items you bring in the photos. I work with their energy and make the session enjoyable for everyone.
